Byzantine

The Byzantine chainmail technique dates back to ancient armour-making traditions, where interlocking rings were used to create flexible yet resistant protective garments.

Over centuries, the weave evolved from functional armour into ornamental metalwork, admired for its complexity and symmetry. Today, it remains one of the  most distinctive  chain patterns in silversmithing.

I have designed and manufactured a custom catch to stand out from all others.
