Narcissus

The tale from Greek mythology tells of the Son of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope, Narcissus was known for his beauty.  Renowned for rejecting admirers, he was cursed by Nemesis to fall in love with his own reflection.

This pendant wards against those who would use the Evil Eye, the curse is a malevolent glare, often inspired by envy, intended to bring bad luck or misfortune upon the recipient.

It is also a symbol for my work, where every aspect of a worn object must be considered. For you are wearing it, it is an extension your presence.

This holds a large cabochon Citrine (~ 5.9 carats)  with many wires like lashes connect to the brow. A line of diamonds (~ 0.25 carats) pave set to provide sparkle and attention.

sterling silver, citrine, diamond.
