Tao Te Ching

The Tao Te Ching is a collection of verses to make you come to the conclusion that opposites are just extremes of the same thing.  (That’s what I got out of it anyways.)

Though composed of two parts, this ring began as a single forged band, later sawn in half, rearranged, and joined again with gold rods. Finally, half was plated in black chrome. 

This ring, although in two pieces was sawn in half from one band I forged. These were then rearranged and rejoined with gold rods. Finally, half was plated in black chrome.  The overall effect is to convince you that there are opposites at play here -like ying-yang, using colour and position, but that’s not how it was made or what lies beneath.

Note: This ring cannot be sized.
